BabayaGames LLC ("BabayaGames", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data when you use our website and games.

Email address — when you sign in using a magic-link email.
Display name — the name shown on the leaderboard, set automatically from your Google account or chosen by you.
Google account information — when you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name as provided by Google OAuth.

Information collected automatically:

Game scores — your best score in Lines, stored locally in your browser and, if you are signed in, synced to our database.
Session data — authentication tokens managed by Supabase to keep you signed in.

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics SDKs, or cookies beyond those strictly required for authentication and game functionality.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and maintain your account.
To display your score on the public leaderboard.
To sync your best score across devices when you are signed in.
To respond to your inquiries sent to our contact email.
To detect and prevent cheating or abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate our services:

Supabase — provides our database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Data is stored on Supabase-managed servers. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.
Google Sign-In (OAuth) — used for optional account creation. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Cloudflare Pages — hosts this website. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata (IP address, user-agent) for security and performance purposes. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — serves web fonts used on this site. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data (email, display name, best score) for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data from our database within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Scores stored only in your browser's localStorage are controlled entirely by you and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Authentication is handled by Supabase using industry-standard practices. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
